Rosalind Welles

Rosalind Welles was the pseudonym used by journalist Elsie Washington. Her only published novel 'Entwined Destinies' is widely considered to be the first contemporary black romance. She also published non-fiction books in addition to her work as a journalist. She worked with the New York Post, Life, and Essence.
