Apollonius of Rhodes

Apollonius of Rhodes was an ancient Greek poet and scholar, best known for his epic poem 'Argonautica', which tells the story of Jason and the Argonauts' quest for the Golden Fleece. He was a prominent figure in the Hellenistic period and served as the head of the Library of Alexandria.
