Ernst Weiß was an Austrian writer and physician known for his novels and short stories. His works often explored themes of existentialism and the human condition. He was a contemporary and friend of Franz Kafka and was influenced by the socio-political changes in Europe during his lifetime. Tragically, he died in Paris in 1940.
