William Cecil Slingsby
William Cecil Slingsby was a British mountaineer known for his pioneering climbs in Norway, particularly in the Jotunheimen range. He is often credited with popularizing mountaineering in Norway and is best known for his first ascent of Store Skagastølstind in 1876.
