Ono no Komachi
Ono no Komachi was a renowned Japanese waka poet of the Heian period, known for her beauty and the emotional depth of her poetry. She is one of the Rokkasen, the six best waka poets of the early Heian period, and one of the Thirty-six Poetry Immortals.
