Emilie Ruete
Emilie Ruete, born Salama bint Said, was a Princess of Zanzibar and Oman who became known for her autobiography, 'Memoirs of an Arabian Princess from Zanzibar'. She was the daughter of Said bin Sultan, Sultan of Muscat and Oman, and later married a German merchant, adopting the name Emilie Ruete.
