Samuel Hearne

Samuel Hearne was a British explorer, fur trader, and naturalist, known for his explorations in northern Canada. He was the first European to make an overland excursion across northern Canada to the Arctic Ocean, and his journey contributed significantly to the mapping and understanding of the region.
