Roméo Dallaire

Roméo Dallaire is a retired Canadian senator, humanitarian, author, and retired lieutenant-general in the Canadian Army. He is best known for his role as the Force Commander of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR) during the Rwandan genocide. Dallaire has written extensively about his experiences and advocates for human rights and mental health awareness.
