Dalai Lama XIV

The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism and a prominent advocate for peace and non-violence. He was born on July 6, 1935, in Taktser, Tibet, and was recognized as the reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama at a young age. He has lived in exile in India since 1959 following the Chinese occupation of Tibet. The Dalai Lama is a Nobel Peace Prize laureate and is known for his teachings on compassion, ethics, and interfaith dialogue.
