Ivan Kotliarevsky

Ivan Kotliarevsky was a Ukrainian writer, poet, and playwright, considered to be the pioneer of modern Ukrainian literature. He is best known for his poem 'Eneida', a parody of Virgil's 'Aeneid', which was the first literary work published in the modern Ukrainian language.
