Venki Ramakrishnan

Venkatraman 'Venki' Ramakrishnan is an American-British structural biologist of Indian origin. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009 for his work on the structure and function of the ribosome. He has served as the President of the Royal Society and is known for his contributions to the field of molecular biology.
