James Tobin

James Tobin was an American economist who made significant contributions to the field of economics, particularly in the areas of macroeconomics and monetary policy. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1981 for his analysis of financial markets and their relations to expenditure decisions, employment, production, and prices.
