George Elliott Clarke

George Elliott Clarke is a Canadian poet, playwright, and literary critic known for his work exploring the experiences and history of Black Canadians, particularly those of African descent in the Maritime provinces. He served as the Canadian Parliamentary Poet Laureate from 2016 to 2017.
