Pavel Florensky

Pavel Florensky was a Russian Orthodox theologian, philosopher, priest, and mathematician. He is often referred to as the 'Russian Leonardo da Vinci' for his diverse contributions to theology, philosophy, science, and art. Florensky was a prominent figure in the Russian religious and philosophical renaissance of the early 20th century. He was arrested during the Stalinist purges and executed in 1937.
