Dámaso Alonso

Dámaso Alonso was a Spanish poet, philologist, and literary critic. He was a prominent member of the Generation of '27, a group of influential poets and artists. Alonso's work often explored themes of existentialism and human emotion. He also made significant contributions to the study of Spanish literature and was a director of the Real Academia Española.
