1. Bolsheviks And Workers Control
The State and Counter-Revolution
This insightful analysis delves into the complex relationship between the Bolshevik leadership and the working class during the Russian Revolution, highlighting the tension between the ideals of workers' self-management and the centralized control imposed by the Bolsheviks. It explores how the initial revolutionary fervor and grassroots movements for workers' control were gradually suppressed in favor of a more hierarchical structure, ultimately leading to the consolidation of power in the hands of the state. The narrative critically examines the contradictions and challenges faced by the revolutionaries as they navigated the tumultuous political landscape of early Soviet Russia.
