Vladislav Vančura

Vladislav Vančura was a Czech writer, film director, and playwright. He was a leading figure in Czech literature during the interwar period and is known for his innovative narrative techniques and rich language. Vančura was also involved in the Czech resistance during World War II and was executed by the Nazis in 1942.
