Stephen Spender

Stephen Spender was a British poet, novelist, and essayist known for his association with the 1930s literary group known as the 'Auden Group.' His work often focused on themes of social injustice and the human condition. Spender was also a co-founder of the literary magazine 'Horizon' and served as the editor of 'Encounter' magazine.
