Edogawa Rampo

Edogawa Rampo, the pen name of Tarō Hirai, was a Japanese author and critic known for his significant contributions to the development of Japanese mystery fiction. His works often drew inspiration from Western detective stories and he is considered a pioneer of the genre in Japan.
