Pamela Colman Smith was an artist and illustrator best known for illustrating the Rider-Waite Tarot deck, one of the most popular tarot decks in the world. Born in England, she spent part of her childhood in Jamaica and later studied at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Her work is celebrated for its distinctive style and symbolic depth.
