Joseph Moxon

Joseph Moxon was an English printer, hydrographer, and maker of mathematical instruments. He is known for his works on printing and typography, as well as for publishing the first English-language book on printing, 'Mechanick Exercises'. Moxon was also a Fellow of the Royal Society and contributed to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the 17th century.
