Jacques Maroger

Jacques Maroger was a French painter and technical director of the Louvre Museum's laboratory. He is known for his research on the painting techniques of the Old Masters and for developing a medium that he claimed replicated the qualities of the mediums used by artists like Titian and Rubens.
