Paracelsus

Paracelsus was a Swiss physician, alchemist, and philosopher of the German Renaissance. He is credited with founding the discipline of toxicology and is known for his pioneering work in medicine, particularly in the use of chemicals and minerals in treatment. Paracelsus challenged the medical orthodoxy of his time and emphasized the importance of observation and experience in the practice of medicine.
