Heinrich Wolfflin
Heinrich Wölfflin was a Swiss art historian, known for his work in the field of art history and aesthetics. He is best known for developing principles of art history and for his influential book 'Principles of Art History', which introduced concepts such as linear vs. painterly and open vs. closed form.
