Saxo Grammaticus

Saxo Grammaticus was a Danish historian, theologian, and author, known for his work 'Gesta Danorum', a comprehensive history of Denmark written in Latin. His exact birth and death years are not known, but he is believed to have lived during the late 12th and early 13th centuries. Saxo's work is one of the most important sources for early Danish history and mythology.
