Rodolfo Amedeo Lanciani

Rodolfo Amedeo Lanciani was an Italian archaeologist and topographer known for his extensive work on the topography of ancient Rome. He was a professor at the University of Rome and produced numerous publications, including the multi-volume 'Forma Urbis Romae,' which detailed the ancient city of Rome.
