Damien Echols
Damien Echols is an American author and artist who was one of the West Memphis Three, a group of teenagers controversially convicted in 1994 of the murders of three boys in West Memphis, Arkansas. Echols was sentenced to death but was released in 2011 after new evidence emerged. He has since written several books and spoken publicly about his experiences.
