Westminster Assembly

The Westminster Assembly was a council of theologians and members of the English Parliament during the 1640s, convened to restructure the Church of England. It is best known for producing the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, which are foundational documents for many Reformed churches.
