Marc-Antoine Laugier
Marc-Antoine Laugier was a French Jesuit priest and architectural theorist. He is best known for his work 'Essai sur l'architecture' (Essay on Architecture), published in 1753, which introduced the concept of the 'primitive hut' as the ideal architectural form. Laugier's ideas were influential in the development of neoclassical architecture.
