Thomas Elyot

Sir Thomas Elyot was an English diplomat and scholar, known for his work 'The Boke Named the Governour', which is one of the first works of political philosophy in English. He was a prominent figure in the court of King Henry VIII and contributed significantly to the humanist movement in England.
