William Fitzstephen
William Fitzstephen was a 12th-century cleric and administrator, known for his work as a biographer of Thomas Becket. He is most famous for his 'Vita Sancti Thomae' (Life of St. Thomas), which provides a detailed account of the life and martyrdom of Thomas Becket, the Archbishop of Canterbury. Fitzstephen also wrote a description of London, which is one of the earliest surviving accounts of the city.
