The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) was an executive non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government, responsible for recording, interpreting, and collecting information about the built environment of Scotland. It was established in 1908 and merged with Historic Scotland in 2015 to form Historic Environment Scotland.
