Ada Louise Huxtable

Ada Louise Huxtable was a pioneering American architecture critic and writer. She was the first full-time architecture critic at an American newspaper, The New York Times, and won the first-ever Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1970. Huxtable was known for her insightful and influential critiques on urban architecture and her advocacy for the preservation of historical buildings.
