Maurice Halbwachs
Maurice Halbwachs was a French sociologist known for his work on the concept of collective memory. He was a student of Émile Durkheim and contributed significantly to the field of sociology by exploring how social frameworks influence individual memories. Halbwachs died in 1945 in the Buchenwald concentration camp.
