Sophie D. Coe

Sophie D. Coe was an American anthropologist and food historian known for her work on the history of chocolate and Mesoamerican cuisine. She authored several influential books, including 'America's First Cuisines' and 'The True History of Chocolate,' which she co-wrote with her husband, Michael D. Coe.
