Leon Battista Alberti

Leon Battista Alberti was an Italian Renaissance humanist author, artist, architect, poet, priest, linguist, philosopher, and cryptographer. He is considered one of the most important figures in Renaissance art and architecture, known for his works on the theory of art and architecture, including 'De re aedificatoria' and 'De pictura'.
