Brion Gysin

Brion Gysin was a British-born painter, writer, and performance artist, best known for his discovery of the cut-up technique, a method of rearranging text to create new meanings. He was a close collaborator with William S. Burroughs and was influential in the Beat Generation and counterculture movements.
