Walter Francis White
Walter Francis White was an American civil rights activist and writer. He was a prominent figure in the NAACP, serving as its executive secretary from 1931 to 1955. White was known for his efforts to combat racial discrimination and his investigative journalism, which exposed the horrors of lynching in the United States.
