Paul Zindel

Paul Zindel was an American playwright, author, and educator, best known for his play 'The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds,' which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1971. He also wrote numerous young adult novels, including 'The Pigman,' which is considered a classic of young adult literature.
