John W. Dean

John W. Dean is an American attorney who served as White House Counsel for United States President Richard Nixon from July 1970 until April 1973. He is known for his role in the events leading up to the Watergate scandal and his subsequent cooperation with prosecutors, which helped lead to the resignation of President Nixon.
