Jacques Chessex

Jacques Chessex was a Swiss author and poet, known for his novels, essays, and poetry. He was the first non-French author to win the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 1973 for his novel 'L'Ogre'. Chessex's work often explored themes of existentialism, spirituality, and the human condition.
