Napoléon Bonaparte

Napoléon Bonaparte was a French military leader and emperor who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and led several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars. He became Emperor of the French from 1804 until 1814, and again in 1815 during the Hundred Days. Napoléon is best known for his role in the Napoleonic Wars and his legal reform, the Napoleonic Code, which has had a lasting impact on civil law jurisdictions worldwide.
