Rahul Sankrityayan was an Indian writer and scholar, often called the 'Father of Hindi Travel Literature'. He was a polymath who wrote on a wide range of subjects including history, philosophy, and Buddhism. He was also a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement and a proponent of Marxist ideology.
