Szymon Laks

Szymon Laks was a Polish composer and violinist, known for his work as a conductor of the prisoners' orchestra at Auschwitz during World War II. He survived the Holocaust and later wrote about his experiences, contributing significantly to the documentation of music in concentration camps.
