Benedict of Nursia

Benedict of Nursia was a Christian saint, who is venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Churches, the Catholic Church, the Oriental Orthodox Churches, the Anglican Communion, and Old Catholic Churches. He is a patron saint of Europe and students. Benedict is best known for his Rule of Saint Benedict, a set of guidelines for monastic life that became one of the most influential religious rules in Western Christianity.
