Vann Nath

Vann Nath was a Cambodian painter, writer, and human rights activist, known for his work documenting the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge regime. He was one of the few survivors of the Tuol Sleng prison, where he was forced to create portraits of Pol Pot. After the fall of the Khmer Rouge, he dedicated his life to ensuring that the horrors of the regime were not forgotten, using his art and writing to educate and advocate for justice.
