Stark Young

Stark Young was an American teacher, playwright, novelist, painter, literary critic, and essayist. He is best known for his novel 'So Red the Rose' and his contributions to Southern literature. Young was also a prominent figure in the Southern Renaissance, a cultural movement in the early 20th century.
