Ki no Tsurayuki

Ki no Tsurayuki was a renowned Japanese poet and courtier of the Heian period. He is best known for his role in compiling the Kokin Wakashū, an imperial anthology of waka poetry, and for his Tosa Nikki, a poetic diary written in kana.
