Sandra Day O'Connor

Sandra Day O'Connor is a retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, serving from 1981 to 2006. She was the first woman to be appointed to the Court and is known for her case-by-case approach to jurisprudence and her role as a swing vote in many important cases.
