Fanny Kemble

Frances Anne Kemble, known as Fanny Kemble, was a notable British actress and writer in the 19th century. She is best known for her memoirs and writings on her experiences in America, particularly her opposition to slavery, which she detailed in her book 'Journal of a Residence on a Georgian Plantation in 1838–1839'.
